Cision’s State of the Media Report has served as the voice of journalists for public relations and corporate comms professionals for more than a decade.
Each year we survey thousands of reporters to find out what they want and need from their PR partners. In 2024, for the first time, we’re examining the State of the Media by sector, zeroing in on the behaviors and perspectives of journalists and media influencers who cover different industries.
Of the 3,000+ respondents, more than 500 identified as covering the food and beverage industry. With that in mind, we examined the State of the Media data to look at the specific challenges and implications for the PR professionals seeking to work with these reporters.
