Andrea works with clients to define brand strategy, raise visibility, manage reputation and write copy infused with personality. Hub+company celebrated its 10th anniversary this summer, and its client list ranges from musicians to corporates and non-profits.

3 of Andrea’s tips for pitching journalists:

  • Ensure your pitch is relevant to the journalist you’re emailing and use simple and straightforward subject lines

  • Follow-up is just as necessary as the initial outreach – for timely stories follow up sooner, for evergreen stories wait up to 7 days

  • Following up on the phone can be effective – don't rely solely on email
