Bauer Media
Sophie Knight has been promoted to Affiliate Managing Editor at Bauer Media, where she was previously Group Commercial Content Editor.
In addition, Adam Binnie has been promoted from Group Commercial Content Editor to Affiliate Operations Editor.

Robert Thompson (@thomprobert) has been appointed Senior Head of Production at the BBC, looking after local services in London and the East. Robert was previously Managing Editor, Online and TV for BBC England.

China Dialogue
Susannah Birkwood (@SusannahBirkwoo) has started a new role as Latin America Editor at the non-profit newsroom China Dialogue Trust, where she’ll be heading up Diálogo Chino– a trilingual website devoted to independent reporting on climate change and environmental issues in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Joining them from her role as Senior Media Relations Manager at WWF International, Susannah previously held journalism roles at Third Sector and Bloomberg.

Evening Standard
Harriet Addison (@Harrietaddison) has moved to the Evening Standard as Features Director. Harriet joins the paper from The Times, where she served as Deputy Editor for the Weekend supplement.

Financial Times
The Financial Times has appointed veteran analyst and commentator Stuart Kirk as an investment columnist. He will write a weekly FT Weekend column, beginning 19 November, aimed at personal investors and savers. Stuart is a former editor of Lex, the FT’s agenda-setting column on business and finance.

Hearst UK
Amy Brewster has been promoted to Head of Social, Luxury. As such, she now heads up the social team across all three of Hearst UK's Luxury fashion titles – ELLE UK, Esquire and Harper's Bazaar. This is her second promotion at Hearst UK, having joined the company as ELLE UK's Social Media Manager, and then rising to become Senior Social Media Manager across both ELLE UK and Harper's Bazaar.
