Bloomberg UK is expanding its Wealth content for British audiences with the debut of a new vertical. Bloomberg UK Wealth focuses on personal finance, aiming to help UK consumers make smarter decisions about their money. In addition, Ruth David (@ruthsdavid) has been promoted to Bloomberg’s Bureau Chief for London following the departure of Neil Callanan, who has moved to be the company’s corporate finance czar.

Hannah Hudson (@HannahHudson1) has joined Cedar Communications as Content Director. Hannah will be leading a team working across their business, travel & luxury titles, including British Airways High Life, Mandarin Oriental, and Eurostar. Hannah was previously Content Director at Springwise.

Daily Mail
Kate Pickles (@kate_pickles) has been promoted to Health Editor at the Daily Mail. Kate has worked for the paper for six years and was Deputy Health Editor at MailOnline prior to joining the print edition. She has worked on the health desk since 2018.

The Guardian
Anna Isaac (@Annaisaac) has started her new role as The Guardian’s City Editor. Anna, previously Economics Editor at The Independent, will focus on reporting the changing face of Britain’s financial centre, corporate investigations and the flow of money and power between business and politics.

Life and Soul
The luxury digital lifestyle magazine Life and Soul has now launched with Amanda Fulton as Editor. The London-based title covers fashion, beauty, wellness and lifestyle, brand recommendations, and experiences from around the globe. An accompanying podcast is planned for early 2023. The Life and Soul magazine team is interested in press releases, press trips and event invitations, with the writers ready to review the crème de la crème of the UK & beyond.

Pierra Willix (@pierrawillix) is now a TV Reporter for Metro.co.uk. Pierra is based in London and was previously a Features/TV Reporter with The West Australian newspaper.

New Humanist
Niki Seth-Smith (@nikisethsmith) will be taking over as Editor of New Humanist magazine, effective in March. Niki is currently Deputy Editor for the magazine, and also writes freelance for other outlets.

Reuters
Maggie Fick (@MaggieFick) has begun a new role at Reuters as European Pharmaceuticals Industry Correspondent. Maggie was previously Reuter’s Deputy Bureau Chief, East Africa, and has now moved from Nairobi to London.

Chandler Tregaskes (@chandlertregaskes) has been promoted to Style Editor at Tatler UK. Chandler was previously Junior Style Editor and can continue to be reached at the same email address.

Times Media
Times Newspapers Limited is being renamed Times Media. The formal name of the business entity that comprises The Times and The Sunday Times will change to become Times Media Limited. And brands including Times Radio, the award-winning portfolio of podcasts including Stories of our times and the news podcast Off Air with Jane Garvey and Fi Glover, as well as the TLS, will also be promoted as part of the Times Media family.

Former culture minister and Conservative peer Ed Vaizey is joining Times Radio to present a new live weekly evening show, starting at 7pm on Friday 3 December. Lord Vaizey of Didcot will talk through the big political stories of the week as well as exploring his wide-ranging interests from culture and history to science and technology. The 7-10pm time slot was previously hosted by Michael Portillo.

Susan Low (@slowdownandeat) has been appointed Acting Deputy Editor at Waitrose & Partners Food magazine. Susan, a Freelance Writer and Editor, will hold the role for a year.

Which?
Faith Strickland (@faithstrickla11) has started a new role as Actionable Journeys Editor at Which?, working across a variety of sections, such as money, travel and home. Faith was previously an SEO Journalist at The Times and The Sunday Times.

Laura Hampson (@_laurahampson) has returned to freelancing after a year as the Deputy Lifestyle Editor at The Independent. She will now be available for shifts along with editorial and commercial commissions on all things lifestyle and travel.

Freelance Update - Sarah Jappy
Sarah Jappy (@sarahmjappy) is a freelance travel writer, specialising in hotels, destination guides, luxury lifestyle and wellness. She is interested in hearing about new destinations, new takes on familiar destinations, new hotels, and stories combining yoga and travel. She would also like to hear about exciting new restaurants and bars, food trends and other food-related topics. Sri Lanka is an area of particular focus, but all destinations are of interest.
