James Cook (@BBCJamesCook), currently Chief News Correspondent for The Nine on BBC Scotland, has been appointed as the BBC’s new Scotland Editor. James will take up his post in the coming weeks and will be based in Pacific Quay, Glasgow.

Channel 4 has appointed Naomi Sesay as Head of Creative Diversity, reporting into Emma Hardy, Director of Commissioning Operations, Naomi starts in early February.  She was previously Interim Head of Creative Diversity for Channel 4 in 2019.

Mergermarket's European Private Equity Editor, Joao Grando, has been appointed the Editor of Unquote in addition to his previous role. He joined Mergermarket as an industrials reporter in 2015.
