BBC World Service
A series of BBC World Service programming changes have been announced, designed to bring BBC journalism and analysis closer to audiences in Africa:
BBC Africa’s flagship shows, Dira ya Dunia and Focus on Africa TV, are returning with a new look and feel and will be presented from Africa. They will air on BBC News TV channel, BBC World Service radio and media partner channels. Waihiga Mwaura presents Focus on Africa TV; Roncliffe Odit presents Dira ya Dunia.
Audrey Brown will host the Focus on Africa Podcast, which replaces Focus on Africa radio. The show will offer more context behind African news and current affairs.

Catherine Hardy (@CathFHardy) has been appointed Femail Magazine Editor while Josephine Forster is on maternity leave. Catherine was previously Executive Femail Editor and has held various roles at the Mail since 2014.

Producer Hannah Watson is now working on Jeremy Vine on 5, produced by ITN Productions. She previously worked on Steph’s Packed Lunch. Hannah wants to hear about health, politics, food, human interest stories and news.

Guardian Media Group
Debbie Klein will be joining the GMG board as a Non-Executive Director in September. She recently announced she is to step down from her executive role at Sky as Group Chief Marketing, Corporate Affairs and People Officer. Prior to joining Sky in 2018, Debbie was Chief Executive for Europe and Asia Pacific at marketing services agency Engine Group where she worked for 20 years in various executive roles. Debbie is also a Non-Executive Director of Nationwide Building Society.

Holly Cockburn (@_hollycockburn) is now a Content Editor for Ideal Home. She joined Future last year as Features Editor for Top Ten Reviews and can continue to be reached at the same email address.
