BBC Radio 1Xtra
Music producer, broadcaster and DJ CassKidd will be joining BBC Radio 1Xtra from 3 January 2023, taking over from Jamz Supernova on Tuesday nights at 9pm.

BizClik Media
Mariam Ahmad has started a new role at BizClik Media as Editor of their digital trade magazines Energy and Mining. Previously Editor of Travel Bulletin, Mariam is interested in alternative energy and sustainability.

Daily Record
Dan Vevers (@danvevers) has moved to Reach as an Environment Reporter for the Daily Record. He previously covered Scottish politics for The Scottish Sun and Sun on Sunday.

GRAZIA UK
Annie Vischer (@annievischer) has been promoted to Health & Beauty Director at Grazia UK. Annie, previously Beauty Editor, will oversee daily digital content, affiliates, video and social. She will be working alongside Head of Beauty Joely Walker on strategy and print editorial (including commissioning writers).

Haymarket Group
Michael Heseltine will be retiring as chairman of Haymarket Group next year but will remain as a director on the board. He is succeeded as chairman by his son, Rupert Heseltine, who has been chairman of the subsidiary Haymarket Media Group since 2010.

The Herald (Scotland)
Liam Bryce (@LiamBryce_) has joined The Herald as a Sports Writer. Liam was previously Assistant Live Sports Editor at the Daily Record, where he started as a Trainee Digital Journalist.

IQPC Digital
Leila Hawkins has been named Membership and Content Editor at IQPC Digital. Leila will work across the company’s online portals, including Cyber Security Hub, CX Network, Intelligent Automation Network and PEX Process Excellence Network. Leila was previously Editor of Pharma IQ and Pharma Logistics IQ.

Lancashire Telegraph
Nat Goodlad (@natgoodlad) has joined the Lancashire Telegraph as a Trainee Digital Reporter; contact nat.goodlad@newsquest.co.uk. Nat currently works remotely and will join the Blackburn office in January.

Reach plc
Brad Gray (@brad_gray_) has been appointed Content Lead for Bedfordshire Live. Brad was previously a Content Editor working across HertsLive and Bedfordshire Live and can be reached at the same email address.

Reuters
Joanna Plucinska (@joannaplucinska) has moved to London as European Airlines and Travel Correspondent for Reuters. In addition to covering travel and aviation, Joanna will work with the team of reporters covering aerospace and the commercialization of space as well as the broader transport team. She was previously a Correspondent in Warsaw.

Tim Dams (@tim_dams) was recently appointed European Editor for Screen International, for which he can be reached at tim.dams@screendaily.com. Tim was Editor of the business magazine and website Televisual before he went freelance in 2017.

Richard Priday (@richardpriday) is now a Senior Writer at Tom’s Guide covering news, reviews, how-tos and buying guides for consumer tech, with a focus on mobile devices (laptops and tablets as well as smartphones). International Moves

Madsack Mediengruppe
The German regional newspaper Landeszeitung für die Lüneburger Heide (LZ) has been announced as a digital partner of Madsack Mediengruppe’s RND OnePlatform. The platform offers a digital cooperation model for regional publishers; LZ will bundle its news website and app on RND OnePlatform, as well as its editorial, sales and marketing processes.

Wohnen & Garten
Miriam Sievert is being promoted to Editor-in-Chief of the home and lifestyle magazine Wohnen & Garten, and its associated titles, starting in January. She succeeds Andrea Kögel, who is retiring. Miriam is currently Deputy Editor-in-Chief and has been with Hubert Burda Media for 15 years.
