All Island Media, the parent company of Bailiwick Express and the JEP, has announced two key appointments: James Filleul has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of All Island Media, and Fiona Potigny has been promoted to Editor of Bailiwick Express in Jersey and Guernsey. With a 25-year career in media and PR, James co-founded Connect Magazine in 2011 and Bailiwick Express in 2014, before taking both brands into Guernsey in 2018. James was the Editor of Bailiwick Express from its launch. Fiona joined Bailiwick Express as a full-time Reporter in 2017 after gaining media experience in the UK following university. She progressed to News Editor the following year, and Deputy Editor in 2022. In February, she was appointed Editor of Connect Magazine.

BBC Northern Ireland
BBC Northern Ireland has appointed Kevin Kelly (@kevinhkelly) as Head of News and Current Affairs.  Kevin had been interim Head of News and Current Affairs since January 2022 and succeeds Adam Smyth, who was recently appointed Director of BBC NI. Kevin will have lead responsibility for the BBC’s News and Current Affairs output in Northern Ireland, including its newsroom operations in Belfast and Foyle.

Matt Scrafton (@matt_scrafton) has been appointed Burnley FC Writer for the Burnley Express. Matt joins from the Blackpool Gazette, where he covered Blackpool FC.

Sarah Provan (@sarahprovan2) has been appointed Deputy Tech Editor, covering for Tanya Powley’s maternity leave. Sarah was previously Deputy Editor of Breaking News and can continue to be reached at the same email address.

Falstaff is the biggest wine, food and travel magazine in German-speaking Europe, with print and digital editions in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
