The BBC has revealed the presenter line-up for the new BBC News channel: Matthew Amroliwala, Christian Fraser, Yalda Hakim, Lucy Hockings, and Maryam Moshiri will be Chief Presenters. The channel launches this spring and will be broadcast both in the UK and internationally.

Melania Hidalgo (@melania_hidalgo) has joined CBS News’ London bureau as News Desk Editor. Melania was previously Assistant Producer at CNBC, covering France, Spain and Switzerland.

Daniel Sperling (@dan_sperling) has joined the team at Jeremy Vine On 5 as a Producer. Daniel was previously a Producer and a Programme Editor GB News, and before GBN he was a Showbiz Reporter and Social Media Manager at The Sun.

Rosie Nixon (@rosiejnixon) has taken on the role of Creative Brand Ambassador for HELLO! magazine and moves to three days a week. Rosie, previously Editor-in-Chief, will continue as media spokesperson for the brand and will work on purpose-driven and social impact content championing the causes and values important to women in Britain today. Rosie is also a published author and will now be writing more books.

PinkNews has appointed Christobel Hastings (@CalicoCasa) as Entertainment Editor, where she will lead on and oversee all LGBTQ+ entertainment and culture coverage. Christobel, who started the role in December, previously served as entertainment editor at Stylist magazine. 

POLITICO 
Anne McElvoy (@annemcelvoy) has been hired as Executive Editor, Head of Audio for POLITICO, effective in mid-February. Anne, currently Executive Editor at The Economist, will oversee POLITICO’s existing podcasts as well as future launches.
